Bird in Hand

On Independent Bookstore Day, Arbor Initiative collaborated with Bird In Hand Coffee and Books where customers exchanged books or donated books for free coffee.
Brear Creek Elementary

536 books were donated to Bear Creek Elementary, which will be distributed to students during their Spring Family Learning Night.
Martin Boulevard Elementary

As Arbor Initiative's first donation of 2022, we delivered 185 books to Martin Boulevard Elementary!.

Harford Heights Elementary
April 14th, 2021
Arbor Initiative donated 225 books to Harford Heights marking our second donation to the school. These books will be distributed throughout teacher’s classrooms as well as aid virtual learning at home. Harford Heights has many initiatives including Holiday Book Bundles and Storybook events.
Hazelwood Elementary
March 26th, 2021
Arbor Initiative donated 425 books to Hazelwood Elementary Middle. The books will be used to fill up the library as the school navigates hybrid learning. Hazelwood currently has a successful hybrid model with the school well equipped for COVID-19. The books will further aid students in their education.
Bay Brook Elementary

Arbor Initiative donated 293 books to Bay Brook Elementary Middle. Bay Brook is currently transitioning into hybrid learning as more students return to in-person learning.
Harford Heights Elementary

As our third donation to Harford Heights, Arbor Initiative donated 350 books. The books will be distributed to elementary school students as a part of the school's Storybook events.
